Position Summary
The Systems Administrator at Capitalsolutionsgroup will provide critical support for the implementation, troubleshooting, and maintenance of Information Technology (IT) systems at Fort Meade, Maryland. This role requires a T S/SCI clearance with both polygraphs.
Key Responsibilities
- (U) Provide support for implementation, troubleshooting, and maintenance of IT systems
- (U) Manage the daily activities of configuration and operation of IT systems
- (U) Provide Tier 1 (Help Desk) problem identification, diagnosis, and resolution of problems
- (U) Provide assistance to users in accessing and using IT systems
- (U) Provide Tier 2 (Escalation) problem identification, diagnosis, and resolution of problems
- (U) Provide support for day-to-day operations, monitoring, and problem resolution for all client/server/storage/network devices, mobile devices, etc.
- (U) Configure and manage Linux, Unix, and Windows operating systems; install/loads operating system software; troubleshoot; maintain integrity; configure network components
- (U) Implement operating systems enhancements to improve reliability and performance
- (U) Provide support for the dispatch system and hardware problems, remaining involved in the resolution process
Qualifications
- (U) T S/SCI clearance with both polygraphs required
- (U) Experience in IT systems implementation, troubleshooting, and maintenance
- (U) Strong Tier 1 (Help Desk) and Tier 2 (Escalation) problem-solving skills
- (U) Proficiency in Linux, Unix, and Windows operating systems
- (U) Knowledge of network components and their configuration
- (U) Excellent communication and user support skills
