MFG PLANT SENIOR QUALITY LEADER

About the Role

This full-time position puts you at the center of our manufacturing plant's quality mission. You'll lead all quality assurance functions to guarantee products consistently meet Kroger's safety benchmarks and strict regulatory compliance while championing our commitment to excellence across the facility.

What You'll Do

• Lead and develop Quality Assurance associates to maintain consistent quality standards throughout production
• Establish and enforce quality control procedures that align with corporate policies and government food safety regulations
• Conduct product testing, inspections, and audits to identify potential issues and prevent defects from reaching customers
• Drive initiatives focused on our Safety, Quality, and Reliability (SQR) performance metrics
• Implement our Customer 1st strategy by embedding quality consciousness into all plant operations
• Analyze quality data and trends to uncover improvement opportunities and boost operational performance
• Deliver training to production teams on quality standards and best practices
• Maintain detailed compliance records and prepare regulatory documentation

What We're Looking For

• Proven track record leading quality assurance teams in a manufacturing plant setting
• Deep knowledge of food safety regulations, GMP standards, and USDA/FDA compliance requirements
• Ability to enforce quality protocols while building a culture of safety and continuous improvement
• Experience with quality management systems, root cause analysis, and corrective action processes
• Strong leadership and communication skills across all levels of the organization
• Detail-oriented mindset with commitment to operational excellence
• Availability for a full-time position with flexibility as production needs demand
