About the Role

As a Medical Specialist, Ultrasound Tech in Queens, you will perform and support a broad range of ultrasound examinations and procedures across multiple specialties. Working closely with radiologists, you will help ensure accurate imaging while keeping every patient comfortable and informed throughout their visit.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct and assist with ultrasound examinations and related procedures across a variety of clinical specialties.
• Prepare each patient and confirm their identity prior to imaging, following established departmental protocols and techniques.
• Provide technical support to the supervising radiologist during studies and procedures.
• Operate, clean, and maintain all ultrasound equipment to keep it in safe, reliable working order.
• Adhere to departmental standards and patient-care practices for every examination, including obstetric and other specialty studies.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated experience performing diagnostic ultrasound examinations.
• Working knowledge of ultrasound equipment operation, care, and basic maintenance.
• Strong attention to patient identification, safety, and procedural accuracy.
• Ability to collaborate effectively with radiologists and the wider imaging team.
• Availability for a part-time, day-shift schedule at the offsite Rego Park, Queens location.
