Maintenance Mechanic 1st shift

About the Role

This full-time Maintenance Mechanic 1st shift position is based on-site in Appleton, Wisconsin, with work also performed at our Menasha location (N9234 Lake Park Road, Appleton WI 54915 and 675 Brighton Beach Road, Menasha WI 54942). The schedule runs Monday through Friday with hours falling between 9am and 5pm, or later in the day if preferred, plus overtime and on-call coverage as operational needs arise. Starting pay is $30 per hour, based on experience.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform preventive and reactive maintenance on manufacturing and bindery machinery to minimize downtime
• Diagnose mechanical issues and complete repairs to restore equipment to full working order
• Respond to on-call and overtime requests when production demands it
• Support reliable operations across both the Appleton and Menasha facilities
• Maintain a safe, clean, and organized work environment

Qualifications

• Hands-on mechanical maintenance experience, ideally in a manufacturing or industrial setting
• Ability to troubleshoot, repair, and maintain production equipment
• Flexibility to work overtime and respond to on-call situations as needed
• Reliable availability for the Monday–Friday 1st shift schedule
• Willingness to work across the Appleton and Menasha locations
