About the Role

Dover Corporation's product identification and traceability division creates advanced inkjet, thermal transfer, laser, and print-and-apply systems trusted by manufacturers worldwide. As a Mechanical Engineer II, you'll take ownership of mechanical design, development, and validation projects that directly impact product quality, safety, and manufacturing efficiency for our customers.

Core Duties

• Design and develop mechanical components and subsystems for product identification and traceability equipment
• Conduct performance testing and validation to ensure systems meet reliability and regulatory requirements
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including electrical engineers, software developers, and manufacturing specialists
• Prepare and review technical documentation, specifications, and design calculations
• Troubleshoot field issues and implement corrective actions
• Mentor and support junior engineering team members

What We're Looking For

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related discipline
• 3+ years of professional mechanical engineering experience, preferably in product design or manufacturing equipment
• Proficiency with CAD software and technical design tools
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• Experience with product testing, validation, and troubleshooting
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
• Knowledge of manufacturing processes and equipment reliability principles
