Position Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Mechanical Engineer to join our team at Electro Optic Systems International Pty. As a key member of the Directed Energy division, you will be responsible for designing and developing advanced technology products for the global defence and space domains.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and test mechanical systems for directed energy applications.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate mechanical components into complex systems.
• Conduct research and development of new technologies in support of advanced projects.
• Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulatory requirements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in mechanical engineering, preferably within the defence or space industries.
• Strong knowledge of directed energy systems and their applications.
• Familiarity with CAD software such as SolidWorks or AutoCAD.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
