Manager Finance – Semi Sales

ThermoFisher Scientific is seeking a full-time Manager, Finance to join our Semiconductor Business Unit Finance team in Orenco, Oregon. In this office-based role, you'll provide strategic financial support to our global Semiconductor Sales organization, partnering with leadership across the Electron Microscopy business to drive profitability and commercial success.

About the Role

As Manager, Finance, you'll be the financial backbone of our Semiconductor Sales group, delivering analytical insights and financial planning that directly inform commercial strategy. Working Monday through Friday in our Orenco office, you'll collaborate with sales leaders, regional managers, and corporate finance to ensure our semiconductor business achieves its financial objectives while maintaining operational efficiency.

What You'll Do

• Prepare and analyze financial forecasts, budgets, and performance reports for the Semiconductor Sales organization
• Partner with sales leadership to identify cost-saving opportunities and optimize revenue realization across accounts
• Conduct variance analysis and provide actionable insights on financial performance against plan
• Support pricing strategy, deal structuring, and profitability analysis for key customers
• Develop financial models to evaluate business opportunities, market expansion, and growth initiatives
• Liaise between Semiconductor Sales teams and corporate finance functions to ensure alignment and regulatory compliance
• Contribute to annual planning, quarterly reviews, and strategic business planning cycles

What We're Looking For

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or related field
• 5+ years of experience in financial management, business analysis, or sales finance roles
• Strong proficiency with financial modeling, forecasting, and analysis tools—Excel expertise required
• Demonstrated experience working within complex, global sales organizations or matrix reporting structures
• Proven ability to communicate financial concepts clearly to non-financial stakeholders and executives
• Strong analytical, organizational, and project management capabilities
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative team environment
