What This Role Involves

The role of a Mammo Tech involves providing high-quality mammography services to patients. You will be responsible for ensuring the comfort and safety of each patient during their examination while adhering to strict protocols and guidelines.

Your Responsibilities

• Prepare and position patients for imaging procedures
• Operate equipment to acquire images in accordance with radiologists' instructions
• Ensure patient privacy and comfort throughout the procedure
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment
• Document all procedures accurately and promptly
• Follow all safety protocols and maintain up-to-date knowledge of equipment operation

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; technical training in mammography preferred
• Certified Mammographer (CM) certification from the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT)
• Prior experience in a healthcare setting, particularly with mammography, is beneficial
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Affinity for detail and accuracy in documentation
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment
