About This Position
We are seeking a Maintenance Technician to join our team at Holiday Inn Express Dartford on a 3-month fixed-term basis. The role involves working across 5 days per week for 25 hours. As a Maintenance Technician, you will be responsible for maintaining the hotel's facilities and ensuring that all areas are in good condition.
- Perform routine maintenance tasks such as cleaning, repairing, and inspecting equipment
- Handle emergency repairs promptly to minimize disruptions
- Maintain cleanliness of common areas, guest rooms, and public spaces
- Keep records of maintenance activities and report any issues or required upgrades
- Adhere to safety regulations and maintain a safe working environment
Key Responsibilities
The primary responsibilities of the Maintenance Technician include:
- Ensuring all hotel facilities are in good working condition
- Performing regular maintenance checks on heating, ventilation, air conditioning (HVAC) systems, plumbing, and electrical equipment
- Assisting with minor repairs to guest rooms and public areas as needed
- Maintaining a clean and safe environment for guests and staff
- Collaborating with the management team to address any maintenance issues promptly
