Role Overview
The Maintenance Technician position will be responsible for the maintenance and upkeep of all machinery utilized to support the operations as well as maintenance of the physical plant facility. This role involves performing preventative maintenance tasks, troubleshooting equipment issues, and ensuring that all machinery is in optimal working condition.
What You'll Do
- Perform routine maintenance on machinery and equipment to ensure smooth operation and extend their lifespan.
- Identify and resolve malfunctions or breakdowns of machinery promptly and efficiently.
- Maintain the physical plant facility, including cleaning, repairing, and upgrading as necessary.
- Document all maintenance activities in a timely manner for record-keeping purposes.
- Participate in safety inspections and ensure compliance with safety regulations.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required; vocational or technical training preferred.
- Minimum of 1-3 years of experience as a Maintenance Technician or similar role.
- Familiarity with various types of machinery and equipment used in manufacturing environments.
- Aptitude for troubleshooting and problem-solving.
- Strong mechanical skills and ability to work independently or as part of a team.
