Core Duties

• Direct and schedule the work of maintenance technicians across mechanical, electrical, and related plant systems
• Create and refine preventive and predictive maintenance plans to reduce unplanned downtime
• Diagnose equipment failures, coordinate repairs, and restore assets to operating condition promptly
• Enforce site safety protocols, lockout practices, and regulatory standards during all maintenance activities
• Monitor spare-parts levels, place orders, and maintain accurate inventory records
• Partner with production and engineering colleagues to prioritize work orders and align maintenance with operational needs
• Document work completed, track metrics, and recommend process or equipment improvements
• Train, mentor, and evaluate team members to build technical capability and accountability

Requirements

• Prior supervisory experience in industrial or manufacturing maintenance, ideally within a plant environment
• Solid working knowledge of mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems common to production facilities
• Demonstrated ability to lead teams, assign tasks, and drive safe, productive work habits
• Skill in reading technical drawings, schematics, and equipment manuals
• Familiarity with computerized maintenance management systems and work-order processes
• Strong problem-solving, prioritization, and communication abilities
• High school diploma or equivalent; technical training or relevant trade certifications preferred
• Commitment to continuous improvement and workplace safety
