The Table Community Foundation is hiring a Group Leader for the LODI Expanded Learning Opportunities Program in Stockton, San Joaquin County. This part-time position offers the opportunity to guide and inspire students through enriching after-school activities.
Position Summary
The LODI Expanded Learning Opportunities Program Group Leader plays a key role in delivering quality enrichment and academic support during after-school hours. Working Monday through Friday from 12:00 PM to 6:00 PM, you'll lead small groups of students in engaging activities designed to build confidence, academic skills, and social growth. This part-time, nonexempt position is structured around the school year calendar and offers a competitive hourly rate of $20.00 to $22.00.
Core Duties
- Plan and facilitate age-appropriate learning activities and enrichment experiences aligned with program goals
- Supervise and support students in a safe, inclusive, and respectful group environment
- Implement curriculum-based activities and hands-on projects that promote academic and personal development
- Build positive relationships with students and families, fostering engagement and program participation
- Maintain accurate participation records and communicate program activities and student progress to program coordinators
- Collaborate with school staff and program leadership to support student success and program quality
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent educational attainment
- Experience working with or supervising groups of school-age children
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to manage multiple activities and maintain an energetic, positive presence with students
- Flexibility to work scheduled hours; hours may vary based on program needs
- Commitment to creating a welcoming and supportive learning environment
