Product Counsel Legal Lead

Accenture is seeking a Product Counsel Legal Lead for our San Diego office. In this full-time position, you'll serve as a key member of our legal team, providing strategic counsel on product matters and ensuring compliance across our portfolio.

About the Role

As Product Counsel Legal Lead at Accenture's San Diego location, you'll drive legal strategy for product development and commercialization initiatives. Working within our dynamic legal department, you'll combine deep legal expertise with business acumen to protect and advance our product interests while supporting organizational innovation and growth.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide strategic legal counsel on product development, licensing, and commercialization matters
• Review, negotiate, and finalize product-related contracts and agreements
• Assess regulatory compliance requirements and manage risk mitigation strategies
• Lead cross-functional initiatives with product, technology, and business teams to ensure legal alignment
• Develop and maintain legal policies and processes for product governance
• Monitor industry trends and regulatory changes affecting product strategy
• Mentor junior legal staff and contribute to team knowledge development

Skills & Qualifications

• Juris Doctor degree and active license to practice law in the United States
• 7+ years of experience in product counsel, commercial law, or related legal practice
• Strong expertise in contract law, intellectual property, and regulatory compliance
• Proven track record of providing strategic business counsel to product and technology teams
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills with ability to explain complex legal concepts clearly
• Experience managing multiple priorities and leading in a matrix environment
• Familiarity with professional services or technology industry preferred
