What This Role Involves

As a Legal Administrative Assistant, you'll be the backbone of our legal operations, managing the day-to-day administrative functions that keep our practice running smoothly. You'll work directly with attorneys and legal professionals, handling scheduling, correspondence, document management, and general office coordination that allows our lawyers to focus on client matters.

Your Responsibilities

  • Schedule attorney meetings, court appearances, and client consultations, maintaining organized calendars and sending timely reminders
  • Prepare and format legal documents, pleadings, and correspondence in compliance with court rules and firm standards
  • Maintain case files and document management systems, ensuring all materials are accurately organized and easily accessible
  • Manage phones and emails, greeting clients professionally and directing inquiries to appropriate team members
  • Coordinate with courts, opposing counsel, and external service providers to track deadlines and filing requirements
  • Assist with general office administration, including supply management, billing support, and expense tracking
  • Support special projects and initiatives as requested by supervising attorneys
