Position Summary

Join Christman as a Laborer and take an active role in construction operations throughout the mid-Atlantic. This full-time position focuses on supporting construction projects from start to finish, working alongside skilled tradespeople and project managers. You'll gain hands-on experience in site operations, material logistics, and construction support while developing valuable skills in the building trade.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and maintain work sites, including excavation, grading, and site cleanup
• Handle and move materials, equipment, and supplies safely and efficiently
• Assist skilled trades personnel with installation and assembly tasks
• Operate hand tools and basic power equipment under supervision
• Follow all safety protocols and maintain a clean, organized work environment
• Support project timelines by completing assigned tasks promptly

Skills & Qualifications

• Physical ability to perform manual labor, lifting, and repetitive tasks
• High school diploma or GED preferred
• Willingness to follow safety guidelines and work as part of a construction team
• Ability to take direction and communicate clearly with supervisors and crew
• Basic familiarity with common hand and power tools a plus
• Reliable transportation to job sites in Knoxville and surrounding Knox County areas
