About the Role
This is a senior attorney position that values your existing client relationships and litigation expertise. You'll operate with the autonomy to manage your own practice while benefiting from the firm's resources, collaborative environment, and full-service capabilities.
What You'll Do
- Manage a diverse portfolio of employment law cases, from litigation and disputes to preventive counsel
- Represent employers and employees in employment-related matters, including wrongful termination, discrimination, wage and hour disputes, and workplace discipline
- Draft and negotiate employment agreements, severance packages, separation agreements, and related employment documents
- Advise clients on federal and state employment law compliance, regulatory requirements, and best practices
- Develop and nurture your portable book of business through strategic client relationship management
- Collaborate with colleagues on complex matters requiring broader legal expertise and firm resources
What We're Looking For
- 6+ years of proven experience practicing labor and employment law
- Established portable book of business or demonstrated track record bringing clients to your practice
- Strong litigation and negotiation capabilities in employment matters
- Deep working knowledge of federal employment law and Florida state employment regulations
- Excellent interpersonal and client relationship management skills
- Active Florida law license
