About This Position
Celebrating innovation and collaboration, CGSfederal is seeking an IT Support Specialist to join our team in Albany, New York. As a full-time employee, you'll contribute to the legal mission of a large federal agency by providing top-notch IT support for the USAO office and its employees.
Responsibilities
- Deliver high-quality customer service with clear, professional, and responsive communications across all support channels: in-person interactions, telephone support, email, and electronic ticketing systems.
- Diagnose and resolve IT issues reported by end users promptly and accurately.
- Install, configure, upgrade, troubleshoot, and maintain a wide range of hardware and software, including personal computers, laptops, mobile phones, iPads, copiers, printers, video teleconferencing equipment, scanners, desk phones, and headsets.
- Configure, install, and maintain network systems using established standards and protocols to ensure seamless connectivity and functionality.
Requirements
- Entry-level position with a focus on IT support tasks for the USAO office and its employees.
- Strong communication skills to interact effectively with end users across various channels.
- Technical expertise in installing, configuring, upgrading, troubleshooting, and maintaining hardware and software.
- Adequate knowledge of network standards and protocols for system configuration and maintenance.
