Position Summary

Kongsberg Defense & Aerospace Inc, headquartered in Alexandria, Virginia, seeks a dedicated Internal Operations Project Manager to join our team. With over 20 years of experience operating in the United States, KDA, Inc is known for producing world-leading Remote Weapon Systems (RWS) for the US Army, Marine Corps, and allies at our Johnstown, Pennsylvania factory. We have delivered more than 20,000 PROTECTOR RWS to 28 countries.

Core Duties

• Oversee project timelines and ensure timely delivery of projects
• Coordinate with cross-functional teams to manage project scope, budget, and resources
• Develop and maintain project plans, schedules, and status reports
• Identify and mitigate risks associated with project operations
• Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements

Skills & Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of experience in a similar role within the defense or aerospace industry
• Strong project management skills with proven ability to deliver projects on time and under budget
• Familiarity with project management methodologies such as Agile, Scrum, or PRINCE2
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective collaboration across teams
• Experience in managing remote teams is a plus
