Information Security Analyst

Mindera is seeking an Information Security Analyst to join our team in a full-time remote position supporting operations in Morocco. In this role, you'll safeguard our digital infrastructure, monitor security threats, and ensure compliance with information security standards across our organization.

Position Summary

We're looking for a detail-oriented Information Security Analyst who can identify vulnerabilities, respond to security incidents, and help establish best practices across Mindera's technology environment. You'll work remotely while collaborating with cross-functional teams to build and maintain a robust security posture, ultimately protecting company data and supporting our business objectives in and beyond Morocco.

Responsibilities

• Monitor networks and systems for security breaches and anomalies using security tools and protocols
• Conduct regular vulnerability assessments and security audits of infrastructure and applications
• Respond to and investigate reported security incidents, documenting findings and recommendations
• Review access controls and user permissions to ensure compliance with security policies
• Maintain security event logs and generate reports for management and auditing purposes
• Assist in deploying security patches and updates across systems
• Participate in security awareness training and communicate best practices to staff
• Support compliance efforts with relevant data protection and security regulations

What You Bring

• Knowledge of information security principles, threat landscapes, and defensive measures
• Experience with security monitoring tools, firewalls, intrusion detection systems, or SIEM platforms
• Understanding of network protocols, operating systems, and common attack vectors
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Attention to detail and ability to document security findings clearly
• Relevant certifications such as Security+, CEH, or CISSP are a plus
• Ability to communicate technical security concepts to non-technical audiences
