Aveanna Healthcare, one of the nation's largest private duty nursing companies, is hiring a Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) for part-time in-home healthcare work in Celina, Texas. This weekend position offers flexible, meaningful nursing work serving adult patients in their homes.
About the Role
As an In-Home Healthcare LVN, you'll deliver compassionate care to adult patients in their homes on a part-time schedule. This low-acuity position focuses on patients requiring feeding tube care and medication administration, with comprehensive on-the-job training provided. You'll work Saturday and Sunday shifts from 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM, bringing quality nursing care directly to patients who prefer receiving treatment in their own homes.
What You'll Do
- Provide direct patient care including feeding tube management and medication administration
- Monitor patient vital signs and document changes to the clinical team
- Maintain detailed patient records and ensure accurate documentation
- Support patients' activities of daily living in a home-based setting
- Communicate compassionately with patients and their families
- Follow established care plans and implement safety protocols
What We're Looking For
- Current LVN/LPN license in good standing
- Experience in home health, private duty nursing, or similar patient care settings preferred
- Availability for weekend schedule (Saturday & Sunday, 7am–7pm)
- Strong clinical assessment and interpersonal skills
- Compassionate, patient-centered approach to care delivery
- Reliable transportation to patient homes
