Randolph Township Schools is hiring a Full-Time High School Assistant Boys Basketball Coach for the Winter Season 2026-2027, starting in November 2026 at Randolph High School.
The Opportunity
Make a direct impact on student-athlete development as Assistant Boys Basketball Coach in our competitive winter basketball program. You'll work alongside the head coach to build team culture, teach basketball fundamentals and advanced strategy, and mentor young athletes on and off the court. This position offers a coaching stipend of $6,514–$7,479, paid per the REA Collective Bargaining Agreement.
Core Duties
- Plan and conduct practice sessions focused on basketball fundamentals, conditioning, and tactical development
- Provide coaching guidance and strategic direction during games and competitions
- Evaluate player performance and create skill development plans
- Collaborate with the head coach on team strategy and player advancement
- Support recruitment and community engagement for the boys basketball program
- Maintain team standards and ensure compliance with athletic program rules
- Mentor student-athletes on leadership, character, and academic achievement
Skills & Qualifications
- Proven coaching experience with boys basketball at the high school level or comparable competitive program
- Strong knowledge of basketball fundamentals, game strategy, and player development techniques
- Excellent communication and leadership skills in a team environment
- Ability to motivate and develop young athletes effectively
- First aid/CPR certification, or willingness to obtain certification
- Dedication to supporting student-athlete success in athletics and academics
