Role Overview

Sureserve Group is seeking a Heating Engineer to join our team in Fornham St. Martin, Bury St. Edmunds. As a key player in delivering essential and affordable heating solutions, you will be responsible for maintaining and improving the efficiency of heating systems within social housing properties.

What You'll Do

• Conduct regular maintenance checks on heating systems to ensure they are operating efficiently and safely.
• Diagnose and resolve any issues with heating equipment, including boilers, radiators, and associated components.
• Perform installations and upgrades of heating systems as required by customers or regulatory bodies.
• Ensure compliance with all relevant health and safety regulations and industry standards.
• Collaborate with other engineering teams to optimize energy usage and reduce carbon emissions in line with Sureserve's decarbonization goals.

Requirements

• A recognized qualification in heating engineering or a related field, such as HNC/HND or equivalent.
• Proven experience working as a Heating Engineer or similar role within the social housing sector.
• Demonstrated ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Excellent diagnostic and problem-solving skills.
• A valid UK driving license with access to a reliable vehicle for travel between job sites.
