The Opportunity
Targa Resources is seeking a dedicated Engineer Specialist to join our team as part of the Instrumentation, Controls, and Automation section of larger projects. This role will involve coordinating I&C activities with the Technical Services Team and developing/reviewing critical project documents such as power distribution 1-lines, SIS/PCS/ESD control systems, Control narratives, Cause and Effect Charts, area classification, control panel drawings, and instrumentation specifications.
What You'll Do
- Coordinate I&C activities with the Technical Services Team for project execution.
- Develop and review power distribution 1-lines, SIS/PCS/ESD control systems, Control narratives, Cause and Effect Charts, area classification, control panel drawings, instrumentation specifications, and other related documentation.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and standards in the development of project documents.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of I&C activities into larger projects.
What You Bring
- Proven experience as an Engineer Specialist or a similar role, preferably within the oil and gas industry.
- Demonstrated expertise in instrumentation, controls, and automation systems.
- A strong understanding of power distribution 1-lines, SIS/PCS/ESD control systems, Control narratives, Cause and Effect Charts, area classification, control panel drawings, and instrumentation specifications.
- Excellent coordination and communication skills to work effectively with the Technical Services Team and other stakeholders.
