Head of People (Somnio)

Somnio Software seeks an experienced Head of People to lead our entire People function on a full-time, remote basis. In this strategic leadership role, you'll shape organizational culture, talent strategy, and employee experience as we grow internationally and expand our globally distributed team.

The Opportunity

This strategic position sits at the intersection of People Operations, Talent Acquisition, Organizational Development, Performance Management, Employee Experience, and Culture. You'll partner directly with executive leadership to build scalable people processes, nurture manager capabilities, create an exceptional workplace experience, and support the company's ambitious international expansion.

What You'll Do

• Develop and execute a comprehensive People strategy aligned with business objectives, organizational growth, and employee value proposition
• Direct Talent Acquisition efforts, refining recruitment processes, enhancing employer brand perception, and forecasting workforce needs to attract and retain exceptional talent
• Manage the complete employee lifecycle and people operations, ensuring reliable processes, operational excellence, regulatory adherence, and positive employee outcomes
• Lead performance management, career development programming, leadership development, and succession planning to empower managers and build high-performing teams
• Foster a thriving organizational culture by championing collaboration, employee engagement, wellbeing initiatives, and inclusive practices across a remote, international workforce
• Apply data analytics, modern HR technology, and AI-driven insights to enhance decision-making and continuously refine people processes

Skills & Qualifications

• Demonstrated expertise in strategic People leadership and Human Resources management
• Proven track record directing talent acquisition and building recruiting functions
• Experience managing end-to-end people operations, compliance, and employee experience at scale
• Strong background in performance management, development, and succession planning
• Ability to build and lead high-performing HR teams
• Familiarity with HR technology platforms, people analytics, and data-driven decision-making
• Experience building culture and engagement in remote or distributed team environments
• Excellent stakeholder management and executive communication skills
