The Opportunity

This newly created Head of Accounting role is available for a rapidly growing Private Equity firm based in the heart of the West End. The position offers a competitive salary range of £60,000 to £100,000 depending on experience and is offered on a permanent basis.

Responsibilities

• Manage statutory and regulatory compliance
• Oversee financial reporting and analysis
• Work closely with the CFO for internal growth and development
• Ensure accurate and timely financial statements
• Develop and implement accounting policies and procedures
• Supervise and mentor the accounting team

What You Bring

• A minimum of 7 years' experience in a senior accounting role, preferably within Private Equity or similar industries
• Strong knowledge of financial regulations and compliance requirements
• Proven track record of leading high-performing teams
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Advanced proficiency in financial software and tools
• A passion for continuous improvement and innovation in accounting practices
