About This Position
This full-time remote Accounting Coordinator opportunity at Alimentiv-2 centers on London, Ontario and focuses on keeping corporate and project finances organized, compliant, and transparent. You will own end-to-end handling of money-related workflows while coordinating with leaders and partners to resolve issues and meet deadlines in a supportive, professional setting.
Day-to-Day Responsibilities
- Coordinate the accurate and timely handling of payables, receivables, credit matters, collections, expense submissions, project-related disbursements, and other financial movements for both company-wide and specific project needs, always aligned with project rules, internal policies, and regulatory standards
- Maintain clear records and produce required ledgers or summaries that document every related transaction
- Engage regularly with the Senior Manager of Accounting, the Manager of Procurement, fellow finance colleagues, external vendors, sponsors, project groups, regulatory bodies, and other internal functions
- Respond promptly to questions, dig into any variances that appear, and deliver custom information whenever ad-hoc requests arise
- Support other finance teammates by performing transaction recording, assisting during system checks, and preparing special reports as needed
What You Bring
- Hands-on capability with accounts payable, accounts receivable, credit, collections, expense handling, and project payment coordination typical of an Accounting Coordinator
- Comfort investigating discrepancies and communicating clearly with vendors, sponsors, project staff, regulators, and cross-department contacts
- Skill entering financial data, testing systems, and creating ad-hoc reports to help the wider finance group
- Strong attention to detail plus organizational habits that ensure compliance with project, corporate, and regulatory requirements in a remote full-time setting
- Reliable self-management and collaboration abilities suited to a remote Accounting Coordinator role serving London, Ontario
