Material Coordinator

Robert Half is recruiting a Material Coordinator for a first-shift, on-site position with an established manufacturing facility in Davenport, IA. This full-time role offers Monday through Friday scheduling from 6:00 AM to 2:30 PM, typically 40–50 hours per week, providing stable, predictable work in the Quad Cities area for the right candidate.

Position Summary

As a Material Coordinator, you'll play a critical role in the manufacturing facility's supply chain and inventory management. In this position, you'll manage the flow of materials and inventory throughout the operation, ensuring materials are available when needed for production and properly documented at every stage. Working in a structured manufacturing environment, you'll take ownership of material organization, tracking, and coordination to support continuous operations and production schedules.

Key Responsibilities

• Receive, inspect, and organize incoming materials and inventory according to facility standards
• Maintain accurate inventory records and documentation to support production schedules
• Coordinate material flow between receiving, storage, and production areas
• Perform quality checks on materials and flag any discrepancies or damage
• Keep warehouse and storage areas organized, clean, and safe for efficient operations
• Support additional tasks as needed, including weekend work when required

Who We're Looking For

• Reliability and ability to consistently work the 6:00 AM–2:30 PM schedule, Monday through Friday
• Strong organizational and attention-to-detail skills in a fast-paced manufacturing setting
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a warehouse environment
• Willingness to work overtime and occasional weekend shifts when business needs require
• Physical capability to handle materials and equipment typical to manufacturing operations
• U.S. work authorization (visa sponsorship is not available for this position)
