About This Position

We are seeking a Graduate Data Analyst (AI and Analytics) to join our team at Bidvest International Logistics in Ekurhuleni, South Africa. The successful candidate will be part of the Information Systems Department and will contribute to our ongoing efforts in data analysis and AI implementation.

Day-to-Day Responsibilities

• Analyze large datasets using statistical methods and machine learning techniques
• Develop and maintain analytical models for business intelligence purposes
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify data-driven solutions for operational challenges
• Conduct research on emerging AI technologies and their applications in logistics
• Create reports and visualizations to communicate findings to stakeholders

What We're Looking For

• A Bachelor's Degree, BSc, BCom, Diploma, or Advanced Diploma in Computer Science, Software Development, Computer Engineering related IT qualification
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a passion for data-driven decision making
• Familiarity with AI tools and techniques such as Python, R, SQL, and machine learning frameworks
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively in a team environment
• A proactive attitude and willingness to learn new technologies and methodologies
