What This Role Involves

This role involves owning analytical problems from start to finish, defining meaningful metrics for translation quality and user behavior, monitoring trends, testing hypotheses, and recommending practical improvements. You will investigate root causes of issues, separate real signals from coincidence, review translation samples, and evaluate multilingual AI output.

Core Duties

• Define and own analytical problems from start to finish.
• Investigate why certain patterns occur in complex datasets.
• Form hypotheses, gather data, test explanations, and recommend next steps.
• Create meaningful metrics for translation quality, AI performance, and user behavior.
• Monitor trends and identify unusual patterns or quality issues.
• Extract and combine data from various sources including SQL databases, NoSQL databases, logs, APIs, and CSV exports.
• Compare results across different dimensions such as language pairs, AI models, providers, customers, content types, traffic levels, etc.

Who We're Looking For

We are seeking a Data Analyst who enjoys solving open-ended problems, finding patterns in complex datasets, and turning data into practical recommendations. This is not a reporting role; you will decide what to measure, investigate why things happen, and help the team make better decisions based on evidence.
