The Opportunity
Bounteous is seeking a Business Analyst / Tableau & Data Visualization Analyst to support reporting and automation initiatives. This role involves gathering requirements across multiple business processes, developing and updating Tableau dashboards, and supporting data analysis and testing.
Core Duties
- Support requirements gathering for various business process areas, documenting reporting needs, data inputs, definitions, and stakeholder requirements
- Analyze source data to identify gaps and map data fields to reporting outputs
- Create, update, and support Tableau dashboards, reports, data sources, and related visualization assets using Tableau and other tools
- Translate business requirements into clear dashboard layouts, metrics, filters, and reporting logic for operational, management, and executive reporting views
- Conduct testing, validation, defect tracking, and user feedback during the development and UAT phases of dashboards
- Document requirements, data mapping, reporting specifications, runbooks, and transition materials
- Identify opportunities to improve or automate reporting processes through scheduled refreshes, distribution, alerting, and data management strategies
