Government IT Bid & Contracts Specialist – Fulltime Position in Brooklyn, NY

Zaass Consulting, LLC is hiring a Government IT Bid & Contracts Specialist for our Flatbush, Brooklyn office. As an MWBE and SBE-certified IT staffing and consulting firm, we help public-sector and enterprise clients succeed in government contracting—and we need an experienced professional to lead this critical function.

About the Role

This full-time position offers competitive compensation based on your experience. You'll drive the complete lifecycle of government IT bids and contract proposals, from strategy and development through negotiation and compliance. Your work ensures our clients' IT solutions win federal, state, and local government contracts while maintaining rigorous adherence to all applicable procurement and regulatory standards.

What You'll Do

• Manage end-to-end government IT bid and proposal development, coordinating all technical, commercial, and compliance components
• Prepare comprehensive bid documentation that meets federal, state, and local government requirements
• Create and maintain project timelines, budgets, and scope documentation for each bid
• Work with internal teams and clients to gather and refine bid components before submission
• Negotiate contract terms and conditions in alignment with government procurement standards
• Maintain bid tracking systems and databases to monitor deadlines and status across active opportunities
• Support post-award contract administration and ongoing compliance activities

What We're Looking For

• Demonstrated experience winning or managing government IT contracts, bids, or procurements at federal, state, or local level
• Strong understanding of government contracting regulations, compliance frameworks, and procurement processes
• Excellent project and program management capabilities with strong attention to deadlines and detail
• Clear, persuasive written and verbal communication skills
• Background in IT systems, solutions, or public-sector procurement
• Self-directed work style with ability to collaborate effectively across functions
• Comfortable with Microsoft Office and proposal management software
