The Opportunity
We are seeking a talented and experienced General Stage Manager for our production of 'Auana' in Honolulu, Hawaii. As a key member of the production team, you will be responsible for ensuring that all aspects of the show run smoothly from setup to teardown.
- Oversee all technical elements including lighting, sound, and stage management
- Coordinate with crew members, performers, and technicians to ensure seamless transitions between acts
- Manage schedules, call sheets, and other logistical details for the production team
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies
What You'll Do
In this role, you will be responsible for a wide range of tasks that ensure the smooth operation of 'Auana'. Your duties include coordinating rehearsals, managing stage equipment, overseeing technical aspects, and ensuring all team members are well-prepared for each performance. You will work closely with the production manager to develop and implement strategies for optimizing show flow.
Requirements
To succeed in this role, you must possess a combination of skills and experience:
- A minimum of 5 years of experience as a stage manager or similar position in live entertainment or theater
- Strong organizational and time management skills to handle multiple tasks simultaneously
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with performers, crew members, and technicians

- Able to work in a fast-paced environment under pressure
