General Merchandise Team Associate

About the Role

You'll play a key role in Walmart's daily operations, keeping our merchandise organized and accessible across the sales floor and stockroom. Your work ensures customers find what they need and that our store maintains the high standards our shoppers expect.

What You'll Do

• Receive, process, and organize incoming merchandise shipments with precision
• Stock shelves and create displays that are neat, fully supplied, and clearly priced
• Maintain sanitation and safety standards in assigned store areas
• Rotate inventory following FIFO practices to ensure product quality and freshness
• Help customers locate items and answer questions about our merchandise
• Operate equipment such as pallet jacks and lifts (training and certification provided as needed)
• Work collaboratively with team members and management to identify and meet inventory needs
• Support special events, seasonal displays, and promotional activities

What We're Looking For

• Ability to regularly lift, carry, and move merchandise up to 50 pounds
• Flexibility to work various shifts, including mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays
• Strong organizational and attention-to-detail skills
• Comfort working both independently and as part of a team
• Positive, customer-focused attitude and reliable attendance
• Basic computer skills helpful; retail or inventory experience a plus
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred
