About This Position
This is an immediate start opportunity for a General Hand / Forklift Driver in Katoomba. The role offers full-time hours with day shifts starting at 6:30 am and ending at 2:36 pm, paying $34.96 per hour. For afternoon shifts from 2:00 pm to 10:00 pm, the pay rate is $40.20 per hour. The position provides training with a view to permanency for the right candidate.
Core Duties
- Operate forklifts and other material handling equipment safely and efficiently
- Assist in the loading, unloading, and moving of materials within the facility
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment
- Follow all safety protocols to ensure a safe working environment
Qualifications
- A valid forklift license is required
- Experience in material handling or warehouse operations is advantageous but not mandatory
- A strong work ethic and the ability to follow instructions are essential
