Furniture & Appliance Delivery Driver

Newtrack is hiring a Furniture & Appliance Delivery Driver for a full-time position based in Delta, British Columbia. This opportunity lets you help customers receive their home furnishings safely and on time while contributing to a busy local delivery operation.

Role Overview

As the Furniture & Appliance Delivery Driver at Newtrack, you will spend your days ensuring furniture and appliances travel securely from the warehouse to residences across Delta, British Columbia and nearby communities. The role combines careful driving with hands-on handling of heavy goods and friendly customer interaction, making every delivery accurate and professional. You will follow planned routes, uphold safety standards, and represent Newtrack well at each stop so households receive products in excellent condition.

Your Responsibilities

• Load, secure and unload furniture and appliances safely onto and from delivery vehicles
• Drive assigned routes throughout Delta, British Columbia to complete scheduled furniture and appliance deliveries
• Inspect items against paperwork, obtain customer confirmation and report any issues promptly
• Place products carefully within homes, using proper lifting techniques and protective measures
• Keep the vehicle clean, fuelled and organised for efficient daily operations
• Follow all road-safety rules, weight limits and workplace protocols while handling heavy items
• Communicate clearly with customers and dispatch to resolve timing or access questions
• Assist teammates with warehouse staging or final-mile preparation as needed

Who We're Looking For

• Valid British Columbia driver’s licence and clean driving record suitable for delivery work
• Demonstrated skill operating vans or trucks used for furniture and appliance transport
• Physical strength and stamina to lift, carry and manoeuvre bulky home furnishings
• Reliable, punctual approach and strong attention to detail on every stop
• Clear, courteous communication style that delivers a positive customer experience
• Ability to read maps or GPS, adapt to traffic conditions and manage time effectively around Delta, British Columbia
• Basic mechanical awareness for routine vehicle checks preferred
