Full-Stack Sitecore Engineer (Remote)

ICF Next is hiring a Full-Stack Sitecore Engineer to join a remote delivery team that builds and modernizes enterprise web experiences for California State Government clients. About the Role

As a Full-Stack Sitecore Engineer at ICF, you'll bring analytical thinking and strong web application development skills to a multidisciplinary team. The delivery group spans front- and back-end developers, UX/UI designers, content strategists, business analysts, testers, and security and infrastructure specialists. Work runs in two-week iterations within 10-week program increments, advancing new features and modernization across both IT and Marketing roadmaps. Because ICF contracts with government clients, additional background screenings may be required at hire or afterward.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver full-stack features and fixes for enterprise-level applications built on Sitecore and.NET C#, alongside JavaScript, markup, and styling.
• Modernize existing Sitecore solutions, troubleshoot legacy and current systems, and resolve complex third-party integrations.
• Build and consume RESTful APIs, write unit tests, and support automated testing with Cypress alongside QA teammates.
• Track work and document tickets in Microsoft Azure DevOps, and partner with business analysts to refine user stories, tasks, and estimates.
• Engage clients directly to explain technical details, foster relationships, and join the on-call incident management rotation.
• Participate in Agile ceremonies — sprint planning, standups, retrospectives — and recommend process improvements.

Qualifications

• U.S. Citizen or Permanent Resident, residing and working within the United States, and able to travel to California for fingerprinting.
• 3+ years as a full-stack engineer with Sitecore plus a relevant bachelor's degree, OR 7+ years delivering complex web applications with multiple third-party and Sitecore integrations.
• 3+ years each with modern ES6 JavaScript, RESTful JSON APIs, distributed version control (Git), and RDBMS data modeling.
• 2+ years apiece in web application security, architecting web systems, CI/CD and configuration management, containerized microservices, and accessibility standards; 1+ year with React.
• Strong command of HTTP, HTML, CSS, ES6 JavaScript, and Web Standards, with excellent communication and attention to detail.
• Preferred: Next.js with Sitecore JSS, Azure DevOps pipelines, SASS/LESS/Tailwind, Webpack or Gulp, Deque aXe or WAVE accessibility testing, SAFe experience, and a Sitecore Developer Certification.
