Role Overview

Join Coinbase as a Forward Deployed Engineer within the Office of the CTO, embedded directly into the Compliance organization. This role is pivotal in identifying high-value workflow opportunities and rapidly prototyping solutions using Coinbase's existing AI platform to drive measurable adoption across the Compliance org.

<h2-Core Duties

• Embed with Compliance leadership and frontline teams to surface automation opportunities with the greatest business leverage, focusing on workflows like transaction monitoring, sanctions screening, regulatory change management, and exam preparation.
• Rapidly prototype solutions using Coinbase's existing AI platform as the default foundation before recommending net-new builds.
• Act as a connective tissue between Compliance stakeholders and engineering teams, advocating for and translating needs to drive successful project outcomes.

<h2-Requirements

• Experience in software development with a focus on AI or machine learning is essential.
• A deep understanding of regulatory compliance processes and workflows within financial services is required.
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams.
• A proactive problem-solver who can work independently and in a fast-paced environment.
