About the Role
As a SPED Teacher with ESC Region 11, you will work under the direction of the campus Principal to plan and deliver high-quality academic instruction while fostering a supportive, inclusive classroom environment. This full-time, on-site position in Fort Worth is aligned with district policy and educational philosophy, with the goal of advancing each student's intellectual, emotional, physical, and social development for the 26-27 school year.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and provide individualized academic instruction tailored to the needs of students receiving special education services.
- Build a positive classroom climate that maximizes every learner's potential and encourages well-rounded growth.
- Implement instruction and classroom practices consistent with district policy and philosophy.
- Collaborate with the Principal, fellow educators, and support staff to promote student success.
- Support the intellectual, emotional, physical, and social growth of each student.
Qualifications
- Appropriate Texas certification or eligibility to teach Special Education (SPED).
- Knowledge of special education instructional strategies and best practices.
- Ability to develop and deliver effective, student-centered lessons.
- Strong commitment to creating an inclusive and encouraging learning space.
- Availability to begin with the 2026-27 school year in Fort Worth.
