Bear Country is seeking a full-time Food and Beverage Manager to lead food service and hospitality operations at our Caledonia location. In this hands-on leadership role, you'll oversee multiple dining outlets, coordinate events and banquets, manage teams, and ensure exceptional guest experiences while maintaining strict operational standards.

About the Role

As our Food and Beverage Manager, you'll be the driving force behind all food and beverage service at Bear Country. This full-time position is based on-site in Caledonia and requires someone who thrives in a dynamic, guest-focused environment. You'll report directly to senior management and have the autonomy to shape dining operations that keep guests satisfied and returning.

What You'll Do

  • Oversee daily operations across multiple food service outlets, including Pic Nic Basket, Eats and Treats, and the Tortilla Ship food truck
  • Plan, coordinate, and execute special events and banquet services that meet guest expectations and company standards
  • Lead, train, and develop food service and kitchen staff to deliver consistent quality and professionalism
  • Manage food costs, inventory, purchasing, and vendor relationships to maintain profitability and efficiency
  • Ensure full compliance with federal, state, and local health, safety, and food service regulations
  • Implement and enforce company policies, procedures, and brand standards across all outlets
  • Monitor food quality, presentation, and service standards to drive guest satisfaction
  • Collaborate across departments to create seamless hospitality experiences

What We're Looking For

  • Proven experience as a Food and Beverage Manager or similar leadership role in hospitality or food service
  • Strong knowledge of food safety, sanitation, and regulatory compliance
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple food service operations simultaneously
  • Excellent leadership, staff development, and communication skills
  • Financial acumen, including budgeting, cost control, and profit management
  • Commitment to guest service excellence and operational quality
  • Flexibility to work variable hours, including weekends and holidays
