About the Role

As a Finishing Operator II at Mill Rock Packaging, you will run and tend finishing and gluing equipment that transforms printed paperboard into finished folding cartons. Working in Aurora, you will help deliver the precision, quality, and consistency our customers across food and beverage, technology, health and beauty, and pharmaceutical industries depend on.

Key Responsibilities

  • Set up, operate, and monitor finishing and gluer machinery to meet production schedules and quality specifications.
  • Inspect folding cartons and printed packaging throughout the run, catching defects and adjusting as needed.
  • Make machine adjustments, clear jams, and support changeovers to keep output steady.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area in line with company and industry standards.
  • Record production data accurately and communicate issues to leads and team members.

Qualifications

  • Prior experience operating finishing, gluing, or similar production equipment, ideally in packaging or commercial printing.
