This onsite position, with additional locations in Chicago, Illinois and Milwaukee, Wisconsin, invites experienced finance professionals to support the preparation and analysis of financial statements for a wide range of alternative investment funds.
About the Role
As a Financial & Regulatory Reporting Analyst/preparer, you will join our team in delivering precise financial statements and regulatory documentation for hedge funds, private equity funds, closed-end registered products, and other alternative investment vehicles. This role combines analytical rigor with operational oversight, ensuring accurate fund accounting and timely regulatory compliance across our client portfolio.
What You'll Do
- Prepare and review comprehensive financial statements for alternative investment funds
- Analyze fund operational structures and accounting processes
- Perform account reconciliations and investigate variances
- Support regulatory reporting and compliance documentation
- Collaborate with portfolio managers, investors, compliance officers, and auditors
- Ensure data accuracy and completeness across financial reporting systems
- Maintain audit trails and regulatory documentation
What We're Looking For
- Strong foundation in accounting, finance, or related discipline
- Proficiency with Excel and financial reporting platforms
- Demonstrated attention to detail and analytical capabilities
- Familiarity with hedge fund, private equity, or mutual fund accounting (preferred)
- Clear communication skills and ability to work effectively in a team environment
- Capacity to manage multiple priorities and meet strict reporting deadlines
