Responsibilities

• Lead preparation of annual budgets, forecasts, and variance analyses for assigned areas
• Produce timely monthly and quarterly financial statements and management reports
• Monitor actual results against plan and explain significant differences to stakeholders
• Ensure compliance with accounting policies, internal controls, and regulatory requirements
• Partner with department leaders to improve cost efficiency and resource allocation
• Supervise and develop finance team members, assigning work and providing feedback
• Support external and internal audits by preparing schedules and responding to queries
• Identify process automation opportunities that strengthen accuracy and speed of reporting

Skills & Qualifications

• Several years of progressive experience in finance or accounting, including budgeting and reporting
• Solid understanding of US GAAP and financial control frameworks
• Proficiency with Excel and common financial systems or ERP platforms
• Strong analytical skills for interpreting data and presenting clear recommendations
• Ability to lead others, communicate effectively, and manage competing deadlines
• Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, or a closely related field preferred
• Comfort working onsite full-time at 1 World Trade Center, New York, NY
