Castlerock Resources is hiring experienced Field Superintendents for full-time positions overseeing single-family residential disaster recovery construction projects in Asheville, North Carolina. About the Role
You'll direct on-site construction operations for single-family disaster recovery projects, from groundbreaking through substantial completion. This is hands-on leadership where your decisions drive quality, safety, and schedule performance. Travel between project locations is a core requirement; you'll move between sites as projects evolve, bringing experienced oversight to each phase.
What You'll Do
- Supervise daily construction activities and coordinate crew labor schedules to meet project deadlines
- Enforce safety compliance, building codes, and quality standards consistently across work sites
- Manage subcontractor performance, resource allocation, and work flow to maintain efficiency
- Conduct regular site inspections, identify deficiencies, and implement corrective measures
- Communicate project progress, challenges, and solutions to management and homeowners
- Track project budgets and material costs, reporting financial performance
- Maintain comprehensive site documentation, permits, and quality records
What We're Looking For
- Demonstrated experience as a Field Superintendent or construction project supervisor
- Deep knowledge of residential construction practices, methods, and building codes
- Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and adapt to changing conditions
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills with subcontractors and crew members
- Valid driver's license and willingness to travel between Asheville-area job sites
- Comfort thriving in dynamic, fast-paced field environments
