The Opportunity
We are seeking a Field Service Technician to join our team at Alertus. As an adaptable and self-driven professional, you will be responsible for providing on-site support to our customers, ensuring the successful service of our unified mass notification systems. This role is crucial in improving customer satisfaction, maximizing retention, and increasing profitability.
What You'll Do
- Provide on-site technical support and maintenance for Alertus' unified mass notification systems.
- Diagnose and resolve system issues to ensure optimal performance.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including sales, engineering, and customer service.
- Document all field activities and maintain accurate records of services provided.
- Travel to various locations within the region as needed for on-site support.
Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years of experience in technical support or related field.
- Experience with mass notification systems and/or audio-visual equipment is a plus.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, both written and verbal.
- Able to travel as needed for on-site support.
