About the Role

As a Field Service Professional with Vivint, you are the face of our brand when customers welcome us into their homes. You'll combine hands-on technical expertise with genuine customer care to install, service, and support our industry-leading smart home and security systems. This role is essential to our mission of making homes safer, more comfortable, and more connected.

What You'll Do

• Install and configure smart home security systems, automation equipment, and connected devices at customer locations
• Perform preventive maintenance and troubleshoot technical issues with installed systems
• Respond promptly to service calls and customer requests throughout the Garden City area
• Educate customers on system features, operation, and best practices
• Maintain detailed service records and ensure accurate documentation of all work completed
• Coordinate schedules and manage time efficiently across multiple service locations
• Represent Vivint professionally and build lasting relationships with customers

What We're Looking For

• High school diploma or equivalent; technical certifications or training are valued
• Proven experience in field service, installation, or technical support roles
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities
• Excellent communication and customer service skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Valid driver's license, reliable transportation, and willingness to travel throughout your service territory
• Comfort using tools, climbing ladders, and performing physical work in various environments
