About the Role

In this critical role as a Faultperson with Northpower, you will be responsible for maintaining and restoring power across our electricity distribution network. Your primary duties include performing repairs, carrying out HV switching, testing and earthing equipment, and responding to faults by investigating, isolating, and restoring supply.

Key Responsibilities

• Carry out repairs and maintenance on the electricity distribution network
• Perform High Voltage (HV) switching operations
• Test and earth electrical equipment as required
• Respond to faults by investigating, isolating, and restoring supply

What We're Looking For

• A proven track record in fault response and maintenance of electricity distribution systems
• Strong understanding of safety protocols and procedures in the electrical industry
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team under pressure
• Valid New Zealand driver's license
• Previous experience in similar roles is advantageous but not essential
