About This Position

Metropolitan Ministries, Inc. is seeking a Family Resource Specialist to support homeless and at-risk families in the Tampa Bay area. The role involves conducting intake and assessments, developing individualized service plans, and connecting families with shelter, housing, food, education, and job training resources.

Your Responsibilities

• Conducting intake and assessments for families seeking support
• Developing and implementing individualized service plans tailored to each family's needs
• Connecting families with a wide range of resources including shelter, housing, food, education, and job training programs
• Providing ongoing case management and crisis intervention
• Offering advocacy services to ensure families receive the support they need

What You Bring

• A passion for helping homeless and at-risk families
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• The ability to work effectively with diverse populations
• Experience in social services or a related field is preferred but not required
• Excellent organizational and time management skills
• A commitment to maintaining confidentiality and privacy of client information
