The Opportunity
VHC Health is seeking a dedicated and newly graduated nurse to join our Total Joint/Ortho team as part of the 2026 residency program. This full-time position offers an exciting opportunity for you to develop your nursing skills in a supportive environment, focusing on patient care and surgical procedures related to total joint replacements and orthopedic care.
Responsibilities
- Provide direct and indirect total nursing care to assigned patients
- Supervise assigned personnel as necessary
- Apply knowledge of department and hospital policies and procedures relevant to the delivery of nursing care
- Utilize interpretive skills in patient care and documentation
- Participate in team-based care coordination and communication
Qualifications
- Newly graduated registered nurse with a valid RN license
- Prioritize strong communication, teamwork, and patient-centered care skills
- Demonstrate knowledge of nursing practices and procedures in total joint/orthopedic settings
- Eagerness to learn and adapt to new environments and technologies
