What This Role Involves

The role of an Archives Intern at Crystal Bridges Museum of American Art involves supporting the organization's mission to celebrate the American spirit through art and nature. You will assist with various archival tasks including but not limited to organizing documents, digitizing materials, and researching historical records.

Your Responsibilities

• Organize and catalog archival materials
• Digitize physical archives for digital preservation
• Conduct research on historical records and artifacts
• Assist in the maintenance of the museum's archive database
• Support other administrative tasks as needed

What We're Looking For

• A strong interest in archives, history, or related fields
• Excellent organizational and research skills
• Familiarity with archival management software is a plus
• Prior experience in a similar role is preferred but not required
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
