Facility Care

St. Patrick Roman Catholic Parish Scottsdale is seeking an experienced Facility Care professional to join our Facilities Team in Scottsdale, Maricopa County. This is a full-time opportunity to maintain and enhance our parish facilities, playing a vital role in supporting our community's daily operations and special events.

About This Position

Reporting to the Facilities Director and working collaboratively with fellow Facilities Team members, you will be responsible for the comprehensive care and maintenance of all St. Patrick Roman Catholic Parish Scottsdale facilities and grounds. This role is essential to our parish mission, ensuring that our buildings and outdoor spaces remain safe, functional, and welcoming for our congregation, staff, and visitors. You will handle both routine maintenance tasks and special projects as assigned.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and set up parish buildings and spaces for religious services, community events, and parish activities
• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of all interior facilities and common areas
• Care for exterior grounds, landscaping, and parking areas
• Perform preventive and routine maintenance on building systems and equipment
• Respond to and resolve facility-related issues and repairs promptly
• Inspect facilities regularly and document maintenance needs and work completed
• Collaborate with the Facilities Director and team to execute additional projects and operational needs

Qualifications

• Prior experience in facilities maintenance, building care, grounds keeping, or related field
• Demonstrated ability to maintain clean, safe, and well-organized spaces
• Capacity for independent work while being an effective team contributor
• Physical fitness for regular lifting, climbing, and manual labor
• Reliable attendance and punctual arrival to scheduled shifts
• Openness to learning new skills and adapting to facility-related responsibilities
• Valid driver's license (preferred)
